The Geriatric Assessment Program is an outpatient program open to elderly individuals who are experiencing medical and/or psychological, intellectual and behavioral problems not associated with normal aging.
The Program is open to elderly individuals in the community, wherever they live. It provides a comprehensive evaluation of medical and support needs of the elderly client. Specific attention is devoted to the evaluation of problems related to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, strokes or other complex medical problems of the elderly, as well as plans for support of the caregiver.
