A presentation by actress and playwright, Nan Colton, was given while the ladies of the Menorah Manor Guild enjoyed a beautiful luncheon at the Bayou Club on January 17, 2012.

After one week of decorating and eating in the Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center Sukkot, the residents, led by Rabbi Leah, celebrated Simchat Torah by rolling out the entire Torah and learning the significance of certain markings and spaces. The Torah Roll was of course followed by dancing and noshing.

The Tampa Bay Ray's Annual Senior Prom

On August 25, 2011, the dietary and activities departments worked with Rabbi Leah Herz to put on a spectacular program for our residents. They gave out plastic shekels, set up a mock Israeli shuk (market), did a cooking demonstration of some of Israel's most popular dishes and bargained with the residents for their dishes.
