The assisted living residences at Menorah Manor provide residents with the independent lifestyles that they are used to within the security of a campus that is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their daily needs of meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry are handled by a well trained team of senior care experts. We house two separate assisted living residences, one in St. Petersburg, The Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence, and one in Clearwater, The Inn on the Pond. The St. Petersburg location opened in 2003 and is located next door to the Samson Nursing Center. The Clearwater location just recently opened, is located on the Campus for Jewish Life.
We at Menorah Manor hope that you have had a wonderful Chanukah filled with friends, family and lots of food! Here are the last two Gourmet Latke Toppings that we picked up from the St. Pete Times:
Happy Chanukah!
Menorah Manor staff and volunteers will be lighting candles with our residents each night of Chanukah this year between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. See below for the nightly schedule beginning on December 20 and ending on December 27.
You’re in the hospital after a hip replacement. The physician has just informed you that you need to continue your care at a nursing facility. How will the nursing facility know about the special care you need after hip replacement, or your special diet?
In May of 2011, Martin Dodell, a resident at the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence, visited the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. along with 24 other WWII veterans from the Tampa Bay area. The group traveled with the second annual West Central Florida Honor Flight (HFWCF). As part of the National Honor Flight Network program, HFWCF provides all-expense-paid flights to World War II veterans in the Tampa Bay area to visit their memorials and several other monuments in Washington. “Since its origin in 2005, the Honor Flight network has provided "honor tours" to almost 70,000 of our heroes from the Greatest Generation,” says the program’s website.
This letter will serve to compliment you, your facility and your staff at Toby Weinman Assisted living residence. Having recently enrolled my mother at Toby Weinman, I cannot be happier with the care and attention she has been receiving. From the front office, to nursing, dining and housekeeping, your staff is superior (both in competence and compassion). Their ability to welcome my mother and treat her with dignity and friendship is second to none. Having interviewed with many facilities, I am thankful I elected yours. From the bottom of our hearts, my siblings and I thank you.
It has been two and a half years since Mom and Dad moved into Toby Weinman. The staff and residents enhanced my parents with love, compassion and always professionalism. Please accept the enclosed donation in Mom’s memory. The USY’ers at CBI would like to join me in creating a butterfly garden on the patio at Toby, an area that became Mom’s “happy place”. I have said, and will continue to say Menorah Manor is a jewel of our community.
