"Please thank your entire staff for the care and attention they paid to my father while he was at Menorah. I can call some of the individuals by name, but I know there were many more that I didn’t meet who were equally as caring and attentive and so I am not singling any one person out. Both my sister and I are keenly aware that Dad got much love and affection from everyone and we are both eternally grateful… again, on behalf of both my sister and myself, thank you for your kind and thoughtful support through this process. Even if you deal with dying on a daily basis, it’s different when it’s your own family.

In the early 1980s, a group of dedicated community leaders came together with a dream and a mission, to create a nursing center on the west coast of Florida that would care for our Jewish seniors. This group of individuals soon became Menorah Manor’s founding board. “The highlight of this whole project was seeing everyone working together… Menorah Manor will grow in the future because of community…,” said the late Irwin Miller, president of the founding board.
Today, individuals from all over the Tampa Bay area still provide leadership by volunteering to serve as trustees of the Menorah Manor, Menorah Manor Foundation and Menorah Manor Senior Living boards.
